OVEN-BAKED BACON

June, 2018

That’s right—no more hot spatter as you try to flip sizzling slices of bacon. Once you jump out of the fry pan and into the oven to cook bacon, you’ll never look bacon.

Preheat oven to 425°F. Line two 11 x 17-inch baking sheets with foil or parchment paper that extends just beyond the edges of the pan (for easier clean up). Arrange bacon onto the pans (two sheets should be enough for a whole package), leaving space between each piece.

Bake in the oven, one sheet at a time, for 10 minutes. Remove from oven, turn bacon, and bake for another 5 minutes or until you’ve reached desired level of crispiness.

Transfer bacon slices to a plate lined with paper towel to absorb excess drippings. Enjoy as is, or chop for use in our Bacon-and-Egg Hotdish.
