COMMERCIAL BROKER & DEVELOPER BUS TOUR—On October 6th, the St. Albert Economic Development will give you a chance to see what’s on offer for current and future commercial development around St. Albert. You’ll be able to ask questions while on the bus tour, and there’ll be a presentation and networking lunch afterwards.

FRED EAGLESMITH TRAVELLING SHOW—On October 6th and 7th, Fred Eaglesmith returns to the Arden. Eaglesmith is a man who sets the “standard bar” for indie music artists across the globe. Come to hear why this music veteran is well-respected among his peers as a singer-songwriter.

STARFEST—From October 12th to 15th, get to meet four Giller finalists, two Leacock nominees, winners and nominees of the Governor Generals, RBC Taylor and the Charles Taylor prizes, a Man Booker nominee, plus the 2016 runner-up in the Canada Reads competition. Presented by the St. Albert Readers’ Festival.

DIG IN FESTIVAL—From October 12th to 15th, this 3rd annual event is described as “St. Albert’s Horticulinary Festival.” Over four days, there’ll be workshops on everything from making bread to backyard beehives, a culinary walking tour around the historical Perron District to meet chefs who use locally sourced ingredients, and the main event—The Dig In Festival Gala, which has several courses prepared by Alberta’s most talented chefs.
