ST. ALBERT MAYOR’S CELEBRATION OF THE ARTS—On March 9th, the 8th annual Mayor’s Celebration of the Arts will be held at the Enjoy Centre. There’ll be a reception, a silent auction and an awards ceremony in which the Mayor’s Lifetime Achievement in the Arts Award will be presented to Michael Massey.

For more information click here.OPEN HOUSE SHOW & SALE—On March 11th, the Big Lake Artists’ Studio will showcase 10 local artists. There’ll be door prizes, art demos, a silent auction and more. Admission is free, but a donation for the St. Albert Food Bank is encouraged. Ten percent of all sales will also be donated to the Food Bank.

BACH TOTS—On March 15th, this visual storytelling dance troupe will be in St. Albert to entertain young children and adults through a variety of dance, music and audience participation. Bach Tots will be presenting “Once Upon A Season.” Recommended by the International Children’s Festival of the Arts.

There’ll be activities to inspire the next generation of young women and girls to become women of aviation. There’ll be flight simulators, museum tours, aviation-themed crafts and more.

GOOD NIGHT, SLEEP TIGHT—On March 14th, the St. Albert & Sturgeon Primary Care Unit presents this program to help those who suffer from poor quality sleep. On discussion will be how mood affects our sleep, plus tips and strategies will be shared. Registration is required.

EVENING WITH THE STARS—On March 14th, help celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the St. Albert Music Festival. Featured performers will be Juno Award Winning Pianist Senator Tommy Banks and Gemini Award Winning Journalist Colin MacLean.

For more information click here.ART AFTER DARK—On March 15th, St. Albert Rugby Club is holding a fundraiser for its members, family and friends where they get to create their own “Life’s A Beach” masterpiece with the guidance of an Art After Dark artist. There’ll be entertainment, music and drink.
